Bowling

Posted on Jun 7th, 2008 by Brrasie : Peace Lovin Girl Brrasie
Yesterday was my year anniversary with my boyfriend, and we decided to be unconventional and go bowling!

We had corn dogs and pepsi and it was delicious.  :)

I bowled the best I ever have, first game I got 108 and second game I got 102.  First game he only got 74!!  Second game he got 96.  It was awesome to finally beat him at bowling.

I just threw the ball slow, and picked up tons of spares!!

It was a wonderful way to spend time together.  :)

Conscious Shift

I am making a conscious effort to shift my perception and awareness in this world.

I am beginning my first meditation tomorrow, and I am looking very forward to it.  I am going to do my first meditation on my own.  It will assist me to feel out how I do it and how it feels, what I think, what I see.  Without someone teaching me.  For me that will be good.  I will try out a teacher after a month of meditating on my own I think.  :)

My goal in this is to see what perceptions may shift, and work to shift my thinking with them.  I want to be a kinder person.  I am ready to explore that path.  Up until now, I was not ready to do that.  So many ideas in my head that are negative.  I cannot find happiness with others until I find happiness with in myself.

That is my truth.

I will update this every few days or so.  :)

Thank you.
Namaste

Being tested...

Once I though I had my head on my shoulders and things were more or less falling into place right where I wanted them... something happened.

Today I woke up at 4am to what felt like extreme hunger.  As if I hadn't eaten in days.  I got up and had a banana and some cranberry juice, to find that the cramping pain got even worse.

I'm okay now... but that was horrible to go through!  And there are still some pangs left over.  I took a nap for a while and I do feel better.

I do wonder tho, what may I learn from this?  I'm unsure... looking for some feedback possibly.
